Visiting Costa Rica, take notes
1. You will visit our country to rest and enjoy, to pass it well and to live a new and great experience, and never forget it. People in Costa Rica are characterized by human quality, good humor and disposition to help and to make feel well to the visitors. However, you should know that a complicated situation can be presented in any moment and any place; so if you need help try to look for it; in Costa Rica you will always find somebody who offer you a hand.
3. The lifestyle of the "Tico" will make you to see the world in a different way. Try to feel comfortable with the great things that Costa Rica offers, so you will have a beautiful trip experience. Without a doubt in our landscapes and even in our food you will find a different wealth, enjoy it to the maximum, also it is yours.

Our beaches have an exuberant beauty, also our mountains, but some of them are not sure for certain activities like camping, fishing, swimming, walking or surfing; please look for information about it. For your own security and of your family and friends please do not undertake an adventure without look for information about the surest areas for the tourist. 
If you go to the beach try to prevent the strong sun burns and stings of insects. Use appropriate products to avoid painful experiences. Sun glasses, suntan lotions, insects repellent and hats or caps should be part of your baggage when visiting mountains or Costa Rican beaches.
5. Costa Rica, in general, has low risk for the tourist, but it is important to be always alert. Use a copy of your passport to go to the city and keep the original in the hotel or another sure place. Do not carry a lot of cash, neither valuable objects. You came to enjoy, accept these simple advices and avoid difficult situations during your stay.
6. Some highways and national roads are under bad conditions, so drive with caution, especially in those areas that you do not know. Try to adapt you to roads conditions, so you will have a better stay.
7. Our biological diversity is admired in the whole world. Costa Rica’s natural reservations and national parks have an incalculable value for humanity. You can visit our beaches and mountains and let them to transform your travel into a really unforgettable experience.
